Minister Zuma mourns Kgoshi Mampuru lll

Pretoria – The Ministry for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) expressed heartfelt condolences following the untimely passing of His Majesty, Kgoshi Mampuru Mampuru III.

Minister Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma said in a statement on Thursday that Kgoshi Mampuru III was a humble and respected leader who served his community with diligence and whose contribution to the development of the institution of traditional leadership and that of his people was enormous.

” Our country has lost a leader who was close to his people; a torch-bearer for peace and unity and we are proud to have worked with a leader of his caliber.”

We send our sincere condolences to the Pedi Mamone Traditional Council, the Mampuru and Sekwati Royal Family, Pedi Mamone Community and the Limpopo Provincial Government on the passing on of Kgoshi Mampuru Mampuru III.

” We share in your pain and Kgoshi Mampuru will forever be remembered with great respect and admiration for his humility, selflessness and commitment to serving his people,” Minister Zuma said.
