Bushiri’s R5,5m Centurion property forfeited to the state

PRETORIA – Magistrate Thandi Theledi, ruled that the property in Midstream, Centurion belonging to the fugitives Shepherd and Mary Bushiri be seized by the state.

The Centurion property, valued at R5.5-million has been forfeited to the state after the pair violated their bail conditions by leaving South Africa.

Part of the bail conditions were that the couple should not leave Gauteng or South Africa.

Bushiri and wife are facing charges of fraud and money laundering.

Meanwhile, they are expected to apply for bail in Lilongwe today were they handed themselves into authorities.
