Zondo postpones recusal verdict

Depurty Chief Justice Raymond Zondo, postponed judgement in Jacob Zuma’s recusal application. Proceedings have been adjourned for Tuesday.

The former president has applied to have Zondo recused as commission chairperson.

Zuma says the chairperson of the commission will not treat his evidence fairly.

Meanwhile Zondo has said he was not able to go through all the documents presented to him on Monday.

“I am going to use today (Tuesday) to work on that judgment…we’ll resume tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10:00 by which time I’ll be ready to deliver my ruling judgement on the recusal application.”
