ANC caucus mourns former member of Parliament, Ambassador Priscilla Jana

Johannesburg – African National Congress (ANC) Caucus expressed its heartfelt condolences after learning of the death of Ambassador Priscilla Jana on Saturday.

Chief Whip, Honorable Pemmy Majodina in a statement said Priscilla “Jana was one of the first Members of Parliament who represent the ANC during the first term of the Democratic government in Parliament from 1994 – 1999 under President Nelson Mandela”

Majodina added that Jana was very instrumental in the transformation of apartheid laws. Jana served in the Justice Committee.

“As the ANC Caucus we take off our hats and salute this pioneer and Daughter of the soil” said
Majodina.
