CENTURION – The City of Tshwane has announced that it will be conducting upgrade work on various Information Communication Technology (ICT) operational systems on Sunday and Monday.
“The City of Tshwane wishes to inform the residents about the upgrade work on various (ICT) operational systems from Sunday, 20 September until Monday, 21 September 2020. The purpose of this essential work is to upgrade the city’s SAP system to an industry-acceptable level and to get it ready to handle the anticipated customer demands as a result of the forthcoming move to lockdown level 1,” City of Tshwane said in a media statement.
This upgrade will impact the City of Tshwane’s 012 358 9999 and 080 11 11556 contact centre operations from 01h30 on Sunday until 07h00 on Monday.
“Customer care services such as power failures, sewerage blockage, water meters, pipe leakages as well as waste collection will be compromised. Only the SMS lines – 082 612 0333 or 44676 – for reporting power failure complaints will be operational or visit www.tshwane.gov.za and follow the Report Power Failure link.”
Resident across Tshwane can also view their City of Tshwane account, lodge a complaint or query and make payments to the City of Tshwane electronically on www.tshwane.gov.za .This service is available all hours of the day.
